Oof. This week has been full of challenges.

Weekly Wins (Week 16)

This week has been quite a challenge. I’ve got a miserable sinus infection that won’t clear up. Fortunately I’ve got a doctor’s appointment on Monday, I’ve secured a sub, plans are written and assignments are scheduled. Fingers crossed that everything goes well!

Weekly Wins (Week 15)

This week we got an email with a photo of a school bus that has been repainted / “wrapped” with our school name in larger type and our mascot on it. It looks really nice, but I can’t think about the fact that our substitute teachers are paid a pittance, and as a result, teachers are often assigned to cover other classes during their planning periods.

Almost made it! It’s time for SPRING BREAK!

So, this week went kind of abruptly sideways. Had to do a bit of tap-dancing and revise my lesson plans. It will be interesting to see how much we’ll need to review/revise next week.

This week has definitely been a struggle. I’m ready to crawl into bed and burrow under the covers.

This week I’ve been kind of unfocused. I feel like I’ve been treading water. I don’t really have a strong sense of where I’m going with my YouTube channel right now. I’ve done a fair bit of reading, which feels good as it took me awhile to get back into it after the break.
